We offer a variety of programs such as intensive board & train with us, in-home lesson packages, puppy program or a bespoke plan customized to your budget and unique needs.
The first step is always a free, in-home consultation with you and your dog. This helps us better understand your dog's behavior, your relationship with your dog, and your desired goals and outcomes. This step also helps you get to know us and our methods to decide if we are a good fit for you. Following the initial consultation, we will recommend a plan that is the best fit for your dog and your family. Each plan is tailored to each dog and their family.
What is a Free Consultation?
Our consultation serves as the initial step on your journey to a well-trained and balanced dog. During this personalized session, we'll take the time to understand your unique goals, concerns, and your dog's individual needs.
What to Expect:
1. Assessment: We'll conduct a thorough assessment of your dog's behavior, temperament, and any specific issues you're facing.
2. Discussion: We'll discuss your training objectives, lifestyle, and any challenges you're experiencing with your dog.
3. Customized Plan: Based on our assessment and discussion, we'll outline a tailored training plan designed to address your dog's behavior and achieve your desired outcomes.
4. Q&A: You'll have the opportunity to ask questions and clarify any concerns you may have about the training process.

Board and Train
Foundational Obedience, Aggression, Reactivity, Anxiety, Aggression (Human/Dog), Over Excitement, and Impulsivity. 3 -6 Weeks depending on severity of behaviors. You will receive regular video updates and you are encouraged to participate in handling lessons once your dog is acclimated to training. We alos support you for the life of the dog.
In-Home Lessons
3 mini sessions, 4 intensive Sessions and 12 lesson or 24 lesson packages. Lessons tailored to your specific goals. Weekly homework assigned. Video and text support. Completion of 24-lesson package results in supporting you for the life of the dog.
Puppy Package
6 -lesson puppy package. In home sessions geared to set you up for a lifetime of success and strengthen and enhance your relatiohship with your dog early on. Program includes potty training, kennel training, basic obedience, socializing and exposing your puppy to various environments to increase their confidence and minimize future reactivity. Upon completion you can chose continued training options that fit your lifestyle and goals for you and your dog.
Bespoke Training
We can customize a program based on your budget, timeline and behavior specific focus; including loose leash walking, kennel training, basic obedience, socialization, environmental decensitizing (taking your dog to vet or groomer), and pack dynamics within the household. Programs are designed in collaboration with the family to meet you where you're at with agreed upon expectations.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What tools do you use in training?
We use a variety of tools in different ways. While tools and use may vary based on individual needs and in consultation with you. Most importantly we belive in using the least aversive tool necessary to meet your dog where they're at. No dog should be be corrected unless we know the behavior is proofed or they are in danger of hurting themselves or others.
Commonly used tools are:
clickers
praise
toys
high-value treats
kennels
slip collars
pinch collars
e-collars
Why do I need these tools?
The first step in shaping positive behavior from our dogs is teaching them what we want. These tools help communicate and reinforce expectations. We use both positive and corrective tools. They simply help clarify what is okay and what is not okay for your dog. When used properly and with care, the corrective tools do not cause pain or fear in the dog.
Can I see my dog during the board and train stay?
In addition to receiving regular video updates, you are strongly encouraged to come participate in weekly lessons with your dog. You learn the skills you need to help manage your dog's behavior, making their transition back to your home more seamless.
Do you take puppies for board and train?
We do not take puppies under the age of 6 months for board and stays. These are formative months and it is important that you and your puppy bond. That said, we know this can also be a challenging a time and you want to make sure you are laying a proper foundation. We are happy to assist you with in-home lessons.
Do you do any specialized sport training?
At this time we do not train dogs in specific tasks: hunting, herding, protection, tracking etc. We work in obedience and building the handler's skills to improve communication and the bond with the dog. Our goal is to make sure you have a well-behaved dog that can join your family on advetures
Do you work with aggressive, highly anxious or reactive dogs?
In many situations we do work with dogs demonstrating reactivity and have had success. If you have a dog that is exhibiting aggression, anxiety or reactivity we can discuss the behaviors and options during the initial consultation. We have had success with working with dogs who have anxiety-based reactivity. If we asses that your dog's reactivity might need a greater degree of specialization, we are fortunate to work with a network of trainers and can refer you to somone who can assist you.
